Mrs. Amber Stewart

I am honored to serve as the new assistant principal at Pierremont Elementary. Over the past 21 years, I have had the privilege of working in education as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and school leader. Each of these roles has shaped my belief in the power of relationships, meaningful learning, and the importance of a positive school culture.

I am passionate about serving kids and committed to helping create a school environment where both students and staff feel supported, valued, and inspired. I believe school should be a place that everyone enjoys coming to each day—a place where curiosity is encouraged, growth is celebrated, and every child has the opportunity to thrive.

In addition to my role at Pierremont, I am currently pursuing my Doctorate of Education in Leadership in Teaching and Learning at Missouri Baptist University. This journey continues to strengthen my commitment to lifelong learning and helps inform the work I do in supporting our students and staff.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I don't have children of our own, but I proudly wear the title of “Funtie” to three amazing nieces—Victoria, Bailei, and Bricyn—and one great-niece, Croix. I love traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, watching movies, listening to music, and finding creative ways to express myself.

Joining the Pierremont community is an exciting new chapter, and I look forward to partnering with families, staff, and students to continue the school’s tradition of excellence.

“Every child deserves a champion—an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best they can possibly be.” – Rita Pierson
